The reader
Guruji Thiruvalluvan Subburayan
Chief Siva Sukshma Nadi Astrologer, Sri Kousiha Agasthiya Mahasiva Sukshma Nadi, Vaitheeswaran Koil. The fourth generation of his family to read these leaves.
- 4th-generation reader
- Thumb impression only
- No leaf found, no fee

For more than four generations Guruji's family has gathered, preserved and read Nadi leaves at Vaitheeswaran Koil. The bundles in the reading room came from many places across Tamil Nadu; what his elders taught him about reading them is what he practises today.
In his own words to visitors: the world argues about theism and atheism, but the Nadi leaves are respected by both, because a reading does not depend on the reader's belief or the seeker's — only on the text and the thumb. Natal astrology is arithmetic done by men; Nadi is what the rishis wrote.
What he reads
Kousiha (Kaushika) Agasthiya Nadi and Siva Sukshma Nadi, in Tamil, with translation into English, Malayalam and Hindi. Readings are in person at the centre and online by thumb impression on WhatsApp.
What he does not do
- He does not ask your name, date of birth, birth star or anything about you before the leaf is found.
- He does not charge if your leaf is not found, and does not read from a leaf that was not confirmed.
- He does not sell poojas. Remedies written in the leaf are told to you; what you do with them is yours.
- He does not promise outcomes, and he does not call his reading "100% accurate". The leaf says what it says.
